The deputy-surveyor receives an inclusive salary on a scale of £650—£20—£850 — his salary for the year ending 30th September, 1919, being £730,together with the appropriate temporary war bonus on the scale fixed by the Conciliation and Arbitration Board. He also receives travelling expenses incurred on official business, including the usual allowances for use of his own motor or horse and trap.
