HC Deb 27 February 1919 vol 112 c1976W
Mr. HAILWOOD

asked the Secretary of State for War when eleven Manchester schools, now being used as military hospitals, can be returned for educational purposes?

Captain GUEST

It is hoped that six council schools and one training college will be vacated very shortly. It will be necessary to retain the other schools for a further period, but my hon. Friend may rest assured that every endeavour is being made to study the educational interests of the city in the matter.
