HC Deb 27 February 1919 vol 112 c2000W
Sir F. HALL

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether London brewers are restricted in brewing stout to an average gravity of 1,032, whereas Dublin brewers are granted an average gravity of 1,047; and, if so, if he will give the reason why the London brewers are not allowed to brew up to the same strength as those carrying on this industry in Dublin?

Mr. PARKER

I have been asked to reply. The hon. and gallant Member is under a misapprehension. London brewers are not under the restriction suggested. The latter part of the question does not, therefore, arise.
