§ Mr. SHORTTThe Government has decided to appoint a Committee to report on the pay, pensions, and method of recruiting of police forces in Great Britain. I hope to be able in a few days to state the terms of reference and the constitution of the Committee. I will ask the Committee to report as soon as possible.
