§ Mr. LORDENasked the Secretary of State for War if officers who have held temporary or acting ranks for a period of twelve months or over may, on demobilisation or retirement, retain the honorary rank of such temporary or acting rank as some slight acknowledgment of their services?
Captain GUESTRetention of such rank is already permitted, provided the officer has held the rank for an aggregate minimum period of six months.
