HC Deb 21 February 1919 vol 112 c1308W
Mr. COWAN

asked the Secretary for Scotland whether the supplementary grants made during the financial year 1917–18 to retired Scottish teachers whose pension or disablement allowances were less than £52 per annum are being continued for the current financial year; and, if not, whether steps will be taken to ensure that they are so continued in all cases?

Mr. MUNRO

The supplementary allowances referred to by my hon. Friend are being continued in necessitous cases in accordance with the terms of the Minute of the Scottish Education Department dated 30th July, 1918.
