HC Deb 20 February 1919 vol 112 c1209W
Captain WEDGWOOD BENN

asked the Secretary for Scotland what action the Government intend to take regarding the municipal elections, in Scotland; when will such elections be held; and, if held, will the election be general or will the practice be resumed of a third of each council retiring?

Mr. MUNRO

I would refer my hon. and gallant Friend to the reply given by the Parliamentary Secretary to the Local Government Board to the hon. Member for Nelson and Colne on the 18th instant. That reply is equally applicable to Scotland.
