§ Mr. BALDWINIt is proposed to ask Parliament to provide a special Grant of £8,250,000 for road improvement purposes in Great Britain, conditional upon the execution by highway authorities of a specified programme out of their own resources. The question of the provision to be made in respect of Ireland is under consideration.
