§ Mr. CAUTLEYasked the President of the Local Government Board whether an esimate of the cost, including salaries, travelling expenses, and subsistence allowances of officers, inspectors, and 603W clerks, of the Housing Department of the Local Government Board during the next year can be given; and, if not, will he have such an estimate forthwith prepared and, in either case, circulate the estimate with the reply to this question or in other Parliamentary Papers?
§ Dr. ADDISONThe additional staff required for the Housing Department has not yet been finally settled with the Treasury, but a sum of £90,000 is being included in the estimate to cover this service. I hope to circulate later a paper showing the additional staff.
