§ Mr. BOWERMANasked the Minister of Transport if he is aware that a representative deputation recently waited upon the directors of the South-Eastern Railway Company to urge the need for the reopening of Spa Road and Deptford Stations, and that the directors have declined to accede to the request of the deputation; and whether he will make representations to the Railway Executive Committee or other responsible body with a view either 711W to the immediate reopening of the stations in question or the holding of a public inquiry into the whole matter?
§ Mr. NEALThe point is at present being considered by the Advisory Committee on London Traffic. Before making a recommendation to the Minister on the subject, the Advisory Committee will certainly take into account the local feeling in favour of reopening.
