asked the First Commissioner of Works whether he is aware that it is practically impossible to obtain a private garage in the neighbourhood of Westminster; and whether, owing to this fact, he will consider the possibility of providing accommodation for the cars of Members who reside some little distance outside town?

The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, I regret that I am unable to entertain the suggestion that the Government should provide garage accommodation for the cars of Members.
