HC Deb 11 December 1919 vol 122 c1650W
Mr. A. HERBERT

asked the Minister of Pensions whether it is possible to come to an understanding between the Ministry of Pensions and the Admiralty for those cases in which a pension was promised by the Admiralty before the formation of the Ministry of Pensions on 4th April, 1917, in order that those dependants of men who have been killed may be able to claim from some definite authority on pensions the arrears to which they are entitled?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

I do not undertand this question. So far as I am aware, there are no cases of dependants' pensions which are being delayed through want of an understanding between the Admiralty and the Ministry of Pensions If my hon. and gallant Friend knows of any such cases, and will give me particulars, I will investigate them.
