§ Mr. STANTONasked the Minister of Food whether he refused permission for meat to be sold at St. Dunstan's Fair on the 22nd, 23rd, and 24th December; and, if so, whether he will state his reasons for such action, having regard to the desire of the butchers to send contributions of meat to the fair and their assurance that there is no shortage of supplies?
§ Mr. McCURDYFurther consideration has been given to the application referred to and, in the special circumstances of this particular case, instructions have been given for the permission asked for to be granted.
