HC Deb 04 December 1919 vol 122 cc646-8W
Colonel MORDEN

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture whether, in view of the recent statement of the President of the Board of Agriculture, that Canadian cattle are as free from disease as any other cattle in the world, he will now withdraw the embargo against the importation of Canadian live stock into Great Britain?

Sir A. BOSCAWEN

The answer is in the negative. I will send to my hon. and gallant Friend, if he so desires, a statement giving the reasons for this decision.
