HC Deb 02 December 1919 vol 122 cc247-8W
Brigadier-General WIGAN

asked the Secretary of State for War if he will states the total amount of the moneys remaining in the hands of the State as the result of dealing in British wool under control after all expenses have been paid?

Mr. KELLAWAY

I have been asked to answer this question. As disposal of British wool purchased by the Government under the purchase scheme is not yet completed, and the expenses incurred have not yet been ascertained in full, I am unable to give the information asked for. It is impossible under these circumstances to give an estimate.
