HC Deb 02 December 1919 vol 122 c248W
Captain COOTE

asked the Pensions Minister whether he is aware that some local pension committees are refusing to grant pensions to wives of disabled men, on the ground that the disablement of the husband is only aggravated by war service; and whether this is in accordance with the Minister's instructions?

Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANS

I do not understand this question. Local war pensions committees do not in any case grant pensions. If my hon. and gallant Friend will give me more detailed particulars I will investigate them.
