§ Mr. SHORTTThere is no publicity bureau at Scotland Yard similar to that attached to other Government Departments, but communications are occasionally made to the Press and requests for interviews made by newspaper representatives are sometimes granted. There being no separate department or organisation, no separate estimate of the cost can be given.
