§ Mr. PULLEYasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture if his attention has been drawn to a resolution passed on 6th August at a meeting representative of the three sections of the milk trade, i.e., producers, produce retailers, and retailers, of Hereford and district, in reference to allowing an increase in the price of milk for the months of August and September; and whether he is prepared to take any action in this matter?
Mr. ROBERTSI have been asked to reply. The answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. I am not prepared to sanction an increase in the price paid to milk producers for the months of August and September; the question of an adjustment in the amount paid to distributors is under consideration.
