§ Mr. MURCHISONasked the Minister of Health whether he will consider the desirability of taking steps to secure that the cost incurred by the port sanitary authorities, especially in East Coast ports like Hull and Newcastle, in protecting the people of this country from the inroads of infectious diseases from abroad, shall be treated as a national charge, at least, to the extent of 50 per cent. of the amount so incurred?
