§ Sir L. WORTHINGTON-EVANSIf there is reasonable probability that service has affected the man's mental state, ordinary pension is admitted; in other cases, where service had apparently little connection with the act, an Article 15 pension may be granted. The classes of case in which pension is entirely refused are few, and are for the most part those in which the suicide is committed to avoid justice, or as a sequel to gross misconduct.
