Lieut.-Colonel THORNEasked the Prime Minister whether his attention has been drawn to the increasing number of complaints in the Press respecting the delay in presenting the Report of the Committee of inquiry into the British Cellulose Company; whether the Government. are keeping the Report back until after the summer Vacation: whether he can state how it is this Committee has been so long, seeing that the original Inquiry only occupied thirty-four sittings; and whether, seeing that if the Committee of Inquiry find the original charges correct it may be necessary to take proceedings against some of the persons implicated, he can now give a definite date by which the Report, shall be laid upon the Table of the House?
