§ Mr. McCURDYThere has unfortunately been some congestion at the ports, and on occasion parcels of foodstuffs may have been spoiled owing to delay in tran-900W sit, though I have no definite evidence to this effect. The hon. Member may be assured that every effort is being made to overcome the existing difficulties of labour and transport so as to clear foodstuffs from the ports as quickly as possible.
