HC Deb 04 August 1919 vol 119 cc45-6W
Mr. RUPERT GWYNNE

asked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether soldiers who have served overseas for over three years without leave are entitled to one week's pay and allowances for every six months of such service in compensation; and, if not, whether any compensation or allowance is granted?

Mr. FORSTER

This question has been very fully considered, and I regret to say that we have found it impracticable to adopt my hon. Friend's suggestion.
