Colonel THORNEasked the Secretary to the Treasury if the Government recognise that the pecuniary conditions appertaining to the insured persons is a responsible factor in the decision of the insured person; if he is aware that the various insurance committees have passed resolutions urging the Insurance Commissioners to make such representations to Parliament as will secure a money grant under Section 1 of the 1913 Act in order that insurance committees may grant subsistence allowance in respect to the dependants of insured persons whilst the latter are undergoing treatment in sanatoria; and if he will take action in the matter?
