§ Major HENDERSONasked the Secretary to the Treasury whether he is aware of the desire for the establishment of a Stationery Office in Glasgow; and whether, in view of the size and importance of this city, he is prepared to give the matter favourable consideration?
§ Mr. BALDWINIt was recently the intention of His Majesty's Stationery Office to open a branch in Glasgow, but owing to the closing down of munition factories and certain other Government Departments in that part of the country as a result of the Armistice, it was found that the need for the establishment of such an office no longer existed.
