Leckie, No. 554, T.C., Royal Naval Reserve, of His Majesty's Mail Steamship "William Cowling"; and whether the allowance will be granted?
§ Dr. MACNAMARAMr. Leckie's claim has been received, and an allowance of 5s. a week was awarded on the 12th instant, with effect from the 3rd October last. I regret the delay that has occurred in the examination of this claim. Some 2523W such delays have been inevitable by reason of the very large number of claims received and the extreme pressure of work occasioned by demobilisation.
