§ Brigadier-General CROFTasked the Secretary of State for India whether his attention has been called to the fact that there are numerous officers, non-commissioned officers, and men who have been demobilised, and who are suffering serious losses owing to long delay in their repatriation to India; and whether he will take early steps to see that all who have employment waiting for them in India will be repatriated at the earliest possible moment?
§ Mr. MONTAGUThe India Office is only responsible for the repatriation of demobilised officers of the Indian Army Reserve of Officers. In these cases I am not aware of any delay, and no complaints have reached me. I will investigate any case which my hon. and gallant Friend communicates to me.
