§ Mr. PULLEYasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Munitions if he can state the nature of the work now being carried on at the National Munition Store, Credenhill, Herefordshire; and if it is the intention of the Government to retain this store for national purposes?
§ Mr. CHURCHILLThe ammunition store at Credenhill is a War Department ammunition depot and is administered by the War Office. The work being carried out in the depot consists of receiving and issuing ammunition, and laboratory operations,i.e., proving, testing, etc. As far as can be foreseen, this store will be retained permanently by the Department as an ammunition depot.
