McDonell, No. 1048273, 3rd Canadian Machine Gun Corps, now in No. 7 Military Prison, Vendroux, Les Attaques, was court- 2539W martialled at Tournai in January last and given five years' penal servitude for participation in a mutiny among certain battalions of the Canadian Corps at Nivelle; whether he has since been sentenced to death by a further court-martial and, if so, for what reason; and whether an inquiry can be made into the circumstances, of which his wife and mother in Canada are in complete ignorance?
