§ Mr. McCURDYI regret that there are no statistics available which enable a comparison to be made of the present cost of living in the United Kingdom and the United States, respectively. If the hon. and gallant Member is interested in the question of food prices during the War, I shall be glad to arrange that he is shown all the available statistics bearing on the subject.
