asked the Home Secretary whether it is by his orders that Henry Gogol, of 21a, St. James Road, Higher Broughton, Manchester, has been arrested; whether any reason can be given for the arrest; and whether any charge will be made against him?

Gozol was arrested for the purpose of deportation, in pursuance of an order which I made on advice that he was a Russian concerned with Bolshevist propaganda whom it was desirable in the interests of this country to deport. He leften route for Russia on the 27th of this month.
