HC Deb 21 October 1918 vol 110 c456W
Mr. A. K. LOYD

asked the Minister of Munitions whether he will endeavour to obtain for the women workers living in and around Wallingford, and to the number of about sixty, employed on munition work at Didcot, an earlier train service from Wallingford, enabling them to reach Didcot by rail in time for the commencement of morning work instead of having to walk or cycle in all weathers to Cholsey Junction?

Mr. MACPHERSON

My right hon. Friend has asked me to answer this question. I am making inquiries into the matter, and will communicate with my hon. and learned Friend as soon as I am, in a position to do so.
