HC Deb 21 October 1918 vol 110 c445W
Mr. BYRNE

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War if he will reconsider the request of Mrs. Whelan, 12, Mark's Court, Dublin; if he is aware that this woman has seven sons, all joined voluntarily, and her husband at present serving in the Army, and that her appeal for Homo service for one son has been refused; and if he is aware that her youngest son was sent to France under age and without draft leave?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I regret that this ease cannot be reconsidered by the War Office, and I am afraid I can only refer my hon. Friend to the letter which was addressed to him on the 27th September last.
