§ Colonel ASHLEYasked the Prime Minister whether he is aware that the increases in separation allowances recently announced by him are being deducted by the civil liabilities committees from the grants made by them; and whether, in view of the fact that this renders nugatory the separation allowance increases in all cases where the recipients are being paid civil liability grants, he will take steps to put a stop to this practice?
