§ Mr. ROWNTREEasked the President of the Board of Education whether his attention has been called to the position in which retired superannuated teachers are placed owing to the depreciation in value of their pensions as a result of the increased cost of living; and whether, particularly in view of the fact that their position is aggravated by their exclusion from the new teachers' superannuation scheme, he can see his way to grant them some special bonus or allowance?
