HC Deb 14 November 1918 vol 110 cc2898-9W
Mr. T. WILSON

asked the Secretary to the Admiralty whether he is aware that, although it is a rule that the minimum pay for adult members of the male clerical staff should be 1s. per week above the minimum of the unskilled labourer, the pay of the male clerical staff has not yet been adjusted in consequence of the award of 3s. 6d. per week to the manual workers in August last; whether he is also aware that as a result of this award the pay of the male clerical staff since August should be for the London district 58s., and for outports 54s. 6d. per week; and whether he will have this matter adjusted accordingly?

Mr. PRETYMAN

The matter raised in my hon. Friend's question is now under consideration.
