§ Mr. SHORTTThe hon. Member appears to be under a misapprehension in the matter, as the award in question dealt only with the cases of permanent and quasi-permanent Civil servants. The Department, however, some time ago forwarded to the Treasury an application, asking that sanction might be given for the extension of the war bonus in question to various classes of temporary employés, including those referred to by the hon. Member, and the decision of the Treasury in the matter is awaited.
