§ Mr. BECKAs already announced in the Press, the Government has decided that all recruiting under the Military Service Acts is to be suspended, although those Acts remain in force. The Government intend very shortly to issue an announcement dealing with the question raised by my hon. and gallant Friend, and I trust he will find this satisfactory when he sees it.
