§ Major BAIRDSeven fatal accidents have occurred in the past three months at air stations in the district round Oxford in addition to the three accidents which, as I have informed my hon. Friend on the 17th October, have occurred at Oxford itself. The orders against low flying over the city are impressed upon all concerned, and severe disciplinary action has been taken in two recent cases in which they have been infringed. Public attention is being drawn to the orders so that infringements may be reported as fully as possible. The Air Council would be grateful if members of the public would assist them in the matter by reporting the number painted in large block figures on the wings of any low-flying aeroplane.
