§ Mr. BECKI can assure my hon. Friend that the possibilities of any relaxation of the instructions with regard to recruiting—and particularly in the case of men such as his question refers to—are kept under constant and careful consideration by the Government, and as I stated in an answer which I sent yesterday to the hon. and gallant Member for Sunderland we may, I think, legitimately hope that before long some relaxation will be possible.
