Major WOODasked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether his attention has been called to the fact that on 14th May last all the first-class accommodation on the 7.30 a.m. train from Ripon to Harrogate was reserved for German officer prisoners of war, and that British officers and civilians were informed that, in consequence, they would be unable to travel first class; and whether he will explain the reason for this procedure, in view of the policy recently announced?
