§ Mr. OUTHWAITEasked the Patronage Secretary to the Treasury whether he can state the cost of the ninety-two war aims meetings addressed by the Earl of Denbigh and the average attendance?
Captain GUESTThe majority of meetings addressed by Lord Denbigh have not entailed any expense to the National War Aims Committee, as they have been defrayed locally. In only a few cases has any expense been incurred. No particulars have been taken as to the audiences, but the minimum number of persons present at public meetings addressed by Lord Denbigh has seldom been less than 1,000.
