asked the Under-Secretary of State for War if his attention has been drawn to the case of Gunner Daniel Herriot, No. 1270, Motor Machine Gun Corps, at present attached to N Battalion, Tank Corps, stationed at Wool, Dorset, who has been twice wounded and has lost one eye, medical classification C l, suffering from shell-shock after treatment in hospital at Coventry, Birmingham, Bristol, Grantham, and Sheffield; is he aware that Gunner Herriot has been ordered to proceed to France on 15th April; is he aware that Gunner Herriot wax a shipyard worker before he voluntarily enlisted; and in view of his medical classification, and the need for shipyard workers, will he inquire into the matter?

This man has not been ordered to proceed to France. His category is B 2, and if he is a shipyard worker by trade, and is accepted by the Admiralty authorities, he will in due course go to ship construction.
