§ Mr. MACPHERSONPetrol is not necessary for making the Woolwich cricket ground serviceable, as other methods have always existed for keeping such grounds in order. In view of the urgent necessity for economising petrol, it is not proposed to authorise its expenditure for the purpose indicated.
