§ Mr. BYRNEasked the Under-Secretary of State for War if he will cause inquiries to be made into the conscripting of James Brennan, of 10, Nixon Street, Dublin; if he is aware that this boy is under nineteen years of age, and was sent by the Dublin Labour Exchange to Great Britain on 12th January, 1918; if he is aware that the Labour Exchange paid his fare to Manchester and the position only lasted a few weeks, and on seeking other employment was arrested and handed over to the military authorities to be dealt with by the Manchester County Police Court magistrate; and if he will see that this man is discharged, and that the Exemption Clauses of the Military Service Act are respected?
