Royal Air Force claims his discharge under the Air Force (Constitution) Act, 1917, what period elapses between the dates of discharge and rejoining the Army; if a Grade 3 man over thirty-five years of age is required to rejoin the Army; and if he is given a fresh medical examination?
§ Mr. MACPHERSONI am afraid my hon. Friend is under a misapprehension. In such a case as that mentioned there is no question of discharge, but only an annulment of the transfer, and the man would then automatically become a soldier again. There is no interval between the annulment of the transfer and the rejoining a military unit, and the second and third parts of my hon. Friend's question do not therefore arise.
