§ Mr. MUNROI am not sure that I correctly appreciate the meaning of my hon. and learned Friend's question. I have had no representations, so far as I can ascertain, which would throw light upon it. As regards the action of assessors, I have no jurisdiction over these officers, whose duties in fixing valuations are prescribed by Statute and are exercised subject to appeal.
