STANIERasked the Financial Secretary to the War Office whether the agreement recently concluded for the purchase of the Australian wool clip provides for the return to the Australian Government of a moiety of any profits made on resale; and, if so, whether these profits are retained by the Australian Government or paid over by them to the wool growers?
§ Mr. FORSTERThe answer to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. The disposal of such profit is a matter for the decision of the Commonwealth Government.
