§ Commander BELLAIRSasked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Food whether he is aware that no official Order has yet reached the Maidstone Food Control Committee concerning the revoking of licences to wholesale dealers in ware potatoes from 31st May if they are not members of a federation or association; whether he is aware that the purport of the Order is not understood, and that there are many dealers outside the associations; and whether he will extend the time for compliance with the Order?
§ Mr. CLYNESThe answer to the first two parts of the question is in the negative. It has already been decided to post pone the operation of the new Order until the 1st July.
