§ Mr. O'DONNELLasked the Vice-President of the Department of Agriculture (Ireland) whether any steps can be taken to utilise the waste products of fish at the various Irish curing stations in Ireland; and what assistance his Department will give in the matter?
§ Sir THOMAS RUSSELLAttempts which have been made to utilise the offal from Irish fish-curing stations have received every encouragement from the Department. The only difficulty which has materially impeded the success of these attempts has been that of collecting the offal in sufficient quantity at the places where the plant has been erected.
